With Olam, how to build a marketplace?
By design, Olam is a digital store for a single vendor. To make it a marketplace, you must install the EDD Front End Submission extension to enable other vendors to list their products. Further descriptions of the EDD FES extension can be seen here. Your website becomes a marketplace once you install the extension and finish the simple setup, just like that!
I don’t want any other vendors. Can I create a single vendor store using Olam?
Definitely, Olam comes as a single vendor theme, you get a single vendor shop, just install it and import the demo stuff.

Yeah, it will not be shown if you do not add any widgets to the sidebar.
How do you provide help for the theme?
Via the ThemeForest comment framework and our Webnesters.ticksy.com support site, we provide support. Support is available on weekdays.
How do I update to the new Olam EDD theme version?
You will need to re-download and overwrite the theme files from your ThemeForest account. To update to the latest version, you can also use the Envato Market Plugin.
Is it really important any time there is an update to upgrade my theme?
Typically, we update the theme to add more functionality and bug fixes. Although it’s not mandatory, updating your theme to the latest version is recommended.
I have some of the theme files edited. May I update to your version of the new theme?
You will need to keep a list of all changes that have been made and add them to the latest version files. Typically, through the child theme included in the kit, we suggest making your template and CSS changes.
Can I build a website like Themeforest with Olam?
Sure, you can use the extension of EDD Front End Submission to create a ThemeForest like marketplace where authors can list their own products.
May I use your EDD WordPress theme to show variable prices?

May I upload my preview of the audio/video as a separate file?
It uploads all audio/video previews as a separate file. Youtube videos can also be linked as previews.
May I upload a custom picture for preview in product listing pages and another preview in the product page?
Yes, in the shop and other product listing pages, some of our clients wanted to use a square preview picture. So, for that reason, we added an option to choose a custom image.
May I have several photos uploaded for preview? If I am using EDD Front End Submission (FES), may I do the same?
If you are running a single vendor shop, you can upload multiple preview images like here-https://themes.layero.com/olamwp/downloads/hot/. But the same can’t be achieved if you’re using EDD FES. For FES submissions, there is no gallery open.
How does the bottom RHS contact/support window work?
Basically, it is a fast contact medium. The email address associated with your WordPress site (which you can find in Dashboard->Settings->General) will be sent to all contacts.
Compatible with RTL languages, is Olam?
No, with RTL languages, Olam is not compatible.
With Olam, can I build a WooCommerce store?
Yeah, based on client requests, we made Olam compatible with WooCommerce, but it is primarily an EDD theme. For EDD, most functionality is built. I recommend this theme instead, https://themeforest.net/item/muta-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/179904588, if you want to use WooCommerce alone.
Do you give customization for the theme?
Oh, no. We are a very small team and do not have the customization tools to do it.
Does the number of items I can add have a limit?
No, using Olam, you can add any number of items.
